Breast Forms - Sizing
Steps to getting the right size breast forms
Measure your chest in the area where the base of the bra sits. Take this measurement about two inches (5 centimetres) below the nipples.
As for genetic females, add four inches (10 centimetres). This measurement is the bra band size.
Decide how large you would like you breast forms to be. Do this by considering your dress and body size, and the look you wish to convey.
Bust sizes are represented by a letter starting with the letter A. A is the smallest cup size (in the US there is also a AA size below cup size A).
- A = very small cup size
- B = small cup size
- C = medium cup size
- D = large cup size
- DD = very large cup size
- Choose a B or C cup if you have a small frame.
- Choose a C or D cup if you have a medium frame.
- Choose a D cup or larger cup if you have a large frame.
Use the size table guide [see below]. (These relate to the different manufacturers and are not generic: ensure you use the table for the brand of bust you are selecting). Read down the column with your chosen cup size to find the bra band size.
Read across the table to find the size for your chosen breast form.
